Gansbaai is the Big Two town in South Africa, famous for its great white shark and southern right whales. Kleinbaai offers white shark diving trips on a daily basis. The whales visit our shores from June till early December. There is a lovely 7 km hiking trail from Gansbaai harbour along the beach on to the Plaat. The cottage is within walking distance from all the shops, banks, as well as the harbour where guests can buy fresh fish daily.
