Fantasies! Beautiful place with the most beautiful scenery. The horse riding was definitely a highlight, everyone really enjoyed it.

Homely and always fun. Unbelievable stay full of action yet always comfortable due to the hospitality of staff. Within 10 minutes of arriving I was curled up on the sofa with one of the dogs there, a beer in my hand, having a lovely welcoming chat from the manager. Everything felt informal and inclusive which helped massively to give a homely feel for my stay. The staff there don't hesitate to help with anything, so with their help I was easily able to go mountain biking on my second day there. On my third day there I did the 5-hour horse trail they offer which was undoubtedly the highlight of all my travels in South Africa. They do a great range of rides fitting to all abilities. I definitely want to come back and do the 3-day tour they offer around the whole of the mountains. To anyone wanting a stay somewhere that includes amazing animals, very accommodating staff, and endless scenery, this is the place for you!

Calm peaceful recovery. Terrible good campsite and facilities. Very nice to hang out in the common living area and sit warm by the fireplace. Surrounded by beautiful views and places nearby to visit.

Best campsite in the southern Drakensberg. Had a wonderful time camping at Khotso Lodge. The camping area is large and neat. Bathrooms are nicely laid out and clean, with plenty of hot water. There is so much to do at Khotso, the trails, horse riding and tubing were an absolute highlight! We can't wait to go again.

Peaceful and picturesque getaway. My family and I had a great time staying in the rondavel. The view was breathtaking and the atmosphere was peaceful. A nice break from the busy city life. I would also recommend that guests go tubing, because it is a fantastic experience! Next time we would love to do the horse riding.

Wonderfully central but felt like we were tucked deep in the mountains. The host really was so accommodating and helpful. We went over the weekend of 20th Sept 2024 and there was a lot of snow that cut out the electricity, which was okay as we had a gas stove and fireplace. They allowed us to shower at the main building as we didn't have hot water. We have stayed at many places in the area and found this to be the best.

Awesome. I was a bit sceptical when we arrived. We were met by the incredible host, who allayed any concerns that we had. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.
