House Rules
Please note that you will be required to accept the full terms and conditions as provided by management upon booking.
The guest signing the agreement accepts personal responsibility for any loss, damage, or breakage to the apartment or its contents during the stay. This guest agrees to inform all members of their party of these Terms and Conditions and to ensure that everyone complies.
Only the individuals listed in the booking may occupy the property, and the number of guests may not exceed the confirmed limit.
Non-compliance may result in immediate eviction without refund. Entry may be refused if the booking holder is not present at check-in.
All guests must present a valid ID or passport on arrival.
Misbehaviour includes excessive noise, loud music at any time, exceeding the permitted number of occupants, hosting parties, conducting commercial activities, or any behaviour that the management deems inappropriate. Any breach may lead to immediate eviction without refund.
Guests remain financially responsible for damages, losses, and any fines incurred. These costs will be communicated by the host and must be settled with Home Meets Hotel within seven business days.
Smoking is not permitted inside any apartment, and alcohol is not allowed in the common areas.
A starter pack is provided on arrival, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, basic detergents, and bathroom amenities. These items are not restocked during the stay.
Electricity is supplied on a prepaid system, and guests are responsible for excessive usage.
Loadshedding may occur, and Home Meets Hotel cannot be held liable for related failures.
Each guest receives a fitted sheet, duvet, bath towel, and hand towel. Guests are asked to bring their own login details for streaming services, as not all apartments include login access.
As a self-catering property, the apartment is not serviced during the stay. Additional cleaning and linen changes may be arranged with the host, and stays longer than 7 nights include a complimentary weekly linen change.
The cleaning fee covers departure cleaning only, and guests are expected to leave the apartment in a clean and tidy condition.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that no property is removed or shared with anyone not listed in the agreement.
Outdoor furniture may need to be moved indoors during strong winds, and some apartments may experience odours or whistling sounds during such weather.
Apartments located near restaurants or pubs may be affected by noise.
Any issues should be reported on the day of arrival so the host can assist.
A surcharge applies for any in-person check-in after 7 pm.
Airport shuttles can be arranged at an additional cost.
International plugs and converters are not supplied.
Home Meets Hotel is not always notified of neighbouring renovations or noise, and cannot be held responsible for disturbances during business hours.
All facilities are used at the guest’s own risk. Home Meets Hotel and its employees accept no liability for injury, loss, or property damage. Guests waive any claims against Home Meets Hotel, its employees, or associated parties for injuries, damages, or losses, including those caused by negligence.
The apartments are not advertised or equipped as child-friendly and are unsuitable for children under 12. Guests who choose to bring children do so entirely at their own discretion and responsibility.
Apartments appear as shown in their photographs and may include features such as open staircases, balconies, and swimming pools.
No additional child-safety equipment is provided beyond what is listed, and children must be supervised at all times.
Home Meets Hotel accepts no liability for injuries or incidents involving children or any other individuals.
Home Meets Hotel and the property owner accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or injury to any person for any reason. Guests are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel and medical insurance.
