Kleinplasie Guesthouse is situated on a peaceful working farm located 2 km outside Calvinia in the Hantam region of the Northern Cape. The guesthouse is set on a historic smallholding where original farm buildings, dating back more than 100 years, were restored and transformed into accommodation in 2002. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Karoo and situated at the foot of the Hantam Mountain Range, the property offers guests a tranquil countryside retreat with scenic mountain views.
Accommodation is available in various comfortable rooms, each fitted with a bathroom containing a shower.
Each unit has a kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, providing guests with convenient self-catering options during their stay.
On-site facilities include a beautiful garden area where guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The property is located within easy reach of Calvinia’s attractions, including the Calvinia Museum, the historic Boekhuis "Book House", and the Akkerendam Nature Reserve. The area is also known for its seasonal wildflowers, which bloom during August and September, as well as the annual Hantam Meat Festival held in August.
