Description
Kloofhuisie and Klooftent offer self-catering accommodation in a restored old farmhouse and 2 spacious converted tents, set in a beautiful valley just outside Ladismith. The accommodation enjoys scenic views of the Swartberg Mountains from the surrounding kloof.
The accommodation sleeps up to 11 guests. The farmhouse comprises 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. The shared bathroom is equipped with a bath, toilet, and basin.”
The farmhouse has a well-equipped kitchen with a 2-plate gas stove, frying pan, microwave, kettle, and fridge-freezer. The kitchen leads to a living area with a dining table and chairs, and comfortable couches.
The Klooftent features a king-size bed, a single bed, and a camp cot for a child. While the tent does not have its own bathroom, an outdoor bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin is available next to Kloofhuisie and is used by guests staying in the Klooftent.
The Bloekomtent is furnished with a double bed and a three-quarter bed, and includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin.
Outside, guests can enjoy braai facilities, a wood-fired hot tub that doubles as a small splash pool in summer, hammocks under shady trees, some mountainous areas next to the living spaces to explore, and a fire pit for late-night gatherings under the stars. A short walk away is a shared farm dam where guests can also cool off.
