Komba House

Description

Komba House is a private bush retreat in the Marloth Park conservancy, offering an authentic wildlife experience. Guests can expect frequent visits from Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeest, Warthog, Impala, Banded Mongoose, and playful Vervet Monkeys.

The home comprises three bedrooms, all with air conditioning, along with the lounge and dining areas. The first bedroom sleeps 2 adults and 1 child, furnished with a king-size bed and a child-only couch, and includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, and toilet. The second bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and has access to a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. Fly screens on all windows ensure protection from flies and mosquitoes.

The open-plan lounge and dining area provide a welcoming space for family time, featuring a lounge suite, coffee table, TV, and DStv on request. The dining area includes a ten-seater wooden table and a bar fridge. The fully equipped kitchen contains a fridge, dishwasher, oven, stove, toaster, microwave, and all necessary cutlery, crockery, and utensils, including braai tongs. Air conditioning operates on a pay-as-you-go system and requires topping up once allocated units are used.

Outdoor amenities include a covered patio with a built-in braai, an open-air braai under the trees, a fire pit, a plunge pool, a wildlife waterhole, and outdoor tables and chairs. Komba House is ideally located for walking or cycling in the bush and is just minutes from the Crocodile River viewpoints, offering unobstructed views of the Kruger National Park.
