House Rules
A wood starter pack is provided. Extra wood can be purchased for an additional fee.
Hot tubs can be heated for the guests if communicated by 2 pm. It takes approximately 2-4 bags of wood (depending on the hot tub size and the outside temperature), the price per bag is R60.
La Ferme is off the grid and running on a solar system. Guests are asked to turn all appliances off (including aircons) when leaving their accommodation and not to use aircons as heaters at night.
Dogs are not allowed on the farm.
Due to the dams, pool, and river, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
No open fires outside the braai and fireplace are allowed.
No extra guests are allowed on the farm without the prior consent of the owners. Visitors must pay the day visitors' rate.
Transport to Franschhoek Village can be arranged on request.
There is 1 km of gravel road leading to the property. This is suitable for cars.
All guests entering the farm agree to the terms and conditions displayed at the entrance gate.
