Nature at its best. Lovely, tranquil and serene. Cut off from the hustle of city life. Nice and relaxing. Great hiking trail, waterfall and scenery. Our host has a heart of gold. Offered us fresh farm eggs, chicken, milk, etc. So accommodating and such a big heart.

Peaceful stay in the beautiful Tulbagh Valley. Thank you very much for a lovely weekend getaway. The unit was well equipped and cozy in the winter cold. Our children also thoroughly enjoyed their interaction with the farm animals.

Nature at its best. Loved being on nature's doorstep, able to walk into the mountains, with the animals surrounding us. The host was so amazing and helpful. Made sure that we were comfortable and that everything was perfect. Fresh milk and eggs were waiting for us, and the buchu was such a nice touch.

Relaxing, enjoyable, safe. Absolute bliss! The farm is incredible and welcoming; we felt at home from the moment we were welcomed in. Gail is a great host, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We did some hiking, relaxed by the pool, and were spoilt for choice on which braai areas to use. The stars are incredible out there; we could not get enough. The unit is clean and has more than enough space. The farm animals kept us entertained, and it's very close to town.

Most serene place. The most amazing, peaceful stay! The owner and farm workers were very attentive. My daughter was able to milk and herd the cows - an amazing experience for her. Would happily visit again.

Landliebe Farm Cottage – the perfect getaway for families with little explorers. We were warmly welcomed by Gail and her team, and Gail truly stood out as an exceptional host! Our family will definitely be returning. If your children are little adventurers, this is the perfect getaway. The thoughtful touch of fresh farm produce as a welcome gift set the tone for a wonderful weekend. It’s also pet-friendly, which is a big plus for families who love to bring their dogs along. My kids adored Gail’s farm dogs, Gigi and Tag! The cottages are well-equipped—you only need to bring swimming towels and food for your stay. The children loved interacting with the animals, while my husband and son enjoyed the hike to the waterfall. The pool was a highlight on hot days, especially for my son who couldn’t get enough of it. Each room is fitted with a fan, making nights comfortable even in the summer heat. Relaxing break in the Boland close to wine farms and nature. We had a lovely stay at Landliebe, a good break from the city. It was great to have the pool and walks to the waterfall in summer to cool down, and the house was not too hot inside during the day. Gail is a lovely host.

Become part of farm life and get away from the business of city life. Lovely getaway with our dog. Nice walk to the waterfall. Chickens, geese and turkeys, cattle and sheep and horses around the house. The yard is fenced which makes it comfortable to just let your dog run around. We got milk and 6 eggs as part of the booking and bought chicken which was delicious.

Challenging. Landliebe Cottages are well situated, and the swimming pool was wonderful in the heat. We encountered significant issues, which were not resolved in a satisfactory manner, and we ended up having to leave halfway through our stay, but the website and the owner have assured us that they will be resolved for any guest that follows.
