Description
Langenhoven Cottage is a charming self-catering holiday home situated in the coastal village of Hondeklip Bay, approximately 500 m from the beach. It offers comfortable accommodation for families seeking a peaceful escape on the Namaqualand coast.
The cottage accommodates up to 6 adults and 2 children and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, while the second bedroom contains a king-size bed and a single bed. The third bedroom features a triple bunk bed with a double bed below and a single bed above. Please note that the upper bunk is suitable for children only. One bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower, while the second bathroom has a shower only. Linen is provided, and guests are kindly requested to bring their own towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a 3-plate stove, small oven, microwave, air fryer, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A separate scullery is available, and tea towels, dishwashing liquid, and toilet paper are provided.
The covered patio offers outdoor seating for up to 8 guests, as well as braai facilities. An additional built-in braai is also available, creating the perfect space for outdoor dining.
Please note that there is no TV, allowing guests to disconnect and enjoy quality time together. Guests are advised to bring their own drinking water and purchase groceries in Garies, Vredendal, or Springbok before travelling to Hondeklip Bay, as the village has only basic shopping facilities. The property is equipped with a water storage tank to assist during occasional municipal water shortages. As power outages may occur from time to time, guests are encouraged to bring torches. Please note that the property does not have a gas stove.
