Description
Langenhoven Cottage is a quaint holiday home situated in the coastal village of Hondeklipbaai. The cottage is ideal for a family seeking a peaceful seaside retreat away from the bustling city and is only 500 m from the beach.
The house can accommodate up to 8 guests (6 adults and 2 children) and comprises 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom contains 2 single beds and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed as well as a single bed. The third bedroom contains a tri-bunk bed with a double bed at the bottom and a single bed on top (the upper bed is not suitable for an adult). The first bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower while the second bathroom is fitted with a shower only.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, three-plate stove, microwave, counter with chairs and a laundry room with a fridge-freezer, and vacuum cleaner. Dishcloths, dish soap and toilet paper are provided. The braai grill is in the laundry room.
The sheltered patio features a braai area and an outdoor dining table with 8 chairs are also provided. Built-in as well as free-standing braai facilities are available. Hondeklipbaai has no shopping facilities.
Guests should please bring along drinking water and are also advised to fill up on fuel as well as supplies at the town of Garies, Vredendal or Springbok before proceeding to Hondeklipbaai.
Please note that Hondeklipbaai has water crises from time to time and at such time water is strictly allowed for household chores only and not for doing the washing. The house has a tank that provided water at such times.
