Description
Langenhoven Cottage is a quaint holiday home situated in the coastal village of Hondeklipbaai. The cottage is ideal for a family seeking a peaceful seaside retreat away from the bustling city and is only 500 m from the beach.
This house accommodates 8 guests, 6 adults and 2 children and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom has 2 single beds, and the second bedroom features a king-size bed as well as a single bed. The third bedroom has a triple bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top. The top bed is not suitable for an adult. The first bathroom has a bath and a shower, while the second bathroom has a shower only.
The kitchen is equipped with a small oven, a three-plate stove, a microwave, an air fryer, and a laundry area with a fridge and freezer. Tea towels, dishwashing liquid, and toilet paper are provided. The braai grid is stored in the laundry cupboard.
The patio is sheltered and features a braai area and a dining table with 8 chairs. A built-in braai is available.
Guests are kindly requested to bring their own drinking water, fuel, and stock up on supplies in Garies, Vredendal, or Springbok before driving to Hondeklip Bay. Hondeklip Bay has 3 restaurants and 2 Pakistani shops that carry essential items, but there are no shopping centres.
Please note that Hondeklip Bay occasionally experiences water shortages during the year. During such times, water is strictly for household use and not for laundry. The house has a tank that provides water during these periods.
