Private, safe, glamping. It was a very nice escape and a very nice glamping option for those who like to stay in nature. Also incredibly private and safe.

Off grid, in nature, bird watching, quiet. Our stay was very enjoyable. Peace and quiet with lots of birdlife. Beautiful sunsets and view of the sea.

A peaceful nature escape with abundant wildlife, glorious sunsets, stargazing. We celebrated our anniversary at Langeverwacht Eco Retreat. It was the perfect quiet weekend in nature, with wildlife in abundance, including an incredible variety of birdlife. We also went on some nice walks and runs around the reserve. I have no idea where the reserve begins and ends, but we didn't even get close to covering all of it. The evenings and nights were the highlight: the scene of the sunset, kolkol, braai and fairy lights was incredibly special. We found ourselves turning the lights off often to enjoy the stars. A word of navigation advice: when navigating to the accommodation, there are two pins on Google Maps. One is the accommodation, and the other is the entrance gate (further north-west). You should navigate to the entrance gate, or Google Maps will navigate you to a dead end.
