L'Chiam Cottage is a cosy 3-bedroom house and honeymoon suite on the gated Bergview Estate in the Champagne Valley in the Drakensberg.
The house is nestled in the foothills of the Drakensberg and can sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and 2 guests in the flat. The main bedroom in the house is furnished with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom contains a double bed. The third bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. The flat is suited for 2 guests and contains a king-size bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower. The main house and the flat are joined by an undercover entertainment area with built-in braai facilities.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, and oven. There is a portable braai available for guests that can be used in the garden. The living room has a fireplace as well as a TV with DStv Premium.
The Bergview Eco Estate has a number of hiking trails that wind into the foothills of the Drakensberg, and more hiking trails can be explored via various hotels and the Monks Cowl National Park.
Champagne Valley is home to various adventure activities such as horse riding, abseiling and treetop tours. It is the ideal holiday destination for guests who want to explore the Drakensberg Range well.
