Lovely scenery, views for days and dead quiet. Friendly hosts. What a lovely start to our tour of the area. Barbara was a wonderfully informative host and we were given delicious freshly baked bread early in the morning. Everything in the house you needed for a lovely stay. Went for a walk and saw 3 mountain tortoises, several antelope species and of course ostriches along the way. Jumped into the farm dam to cool off after the walk. The peace and quiet was just what we needed after a busy year.

The right place to renew and refresh one's soul and body! We had a great stay. Little Canaan Retreat is a beautiful place and Spekboom is a gem. Peace and quiet abound here. What an experience. Wonderful stay here. The silence, tranquility and view cannot be described in words. We stayed 3 nights and it was not enough to take it all in.
