We will return to the area, but not this specific premises. The unit lacked sufficient maintenance, with paint chipping, door handles broken, chairs broken, and the Webber Braai, when moved, lost a leg and nearly fell, causing damage. Although neat and clean inside, general maintenance is not done, giving the appearance of an unkempt unit. We were encouraged to use the hiking trail, but it was so overgrown you could not see the path, and we were approached by two big dogs who were not friendly. On our way back, my husband was once again aggressively approached by the two big dogs, and he had to use an iron pipe we picked up to defend himself. There was a farm worker walking by who called the dogs off. The area suffers from power issues in general; the unit has a gas stove, but no other precautionary aids for when there is no electricity. Our solar power lights were not installed, although we were provided with a remote for them. The potential is great, but the effort is weak. Had a great stay. The bathroom was awesome. The shower works when it wants to. The location was great. Can only let you know if there are weddings going on. The music goes far into the gorge until late at night.
