Excellent location for Elands marathon. We had a lovely stay at Luilekker guesthouse. Ran the Elands marathon and the guesthouse is about 10 km from the start and on the route. This makes it easy for supporters to see you along the way during the race. Breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse were lovely. The power was out for a while after a thunderstorm in the larger area (apparently happens quite often, so bring power banks, lights, etc.). Nice pool to cool off in, beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed the peacock. Thanks to Louw for your hospitality! Hopefully we'll see you again next year!
