The house is beautiful and the stay was pleasant. Although it is called a luxury beach house, it is actually quite a distance away from the beach. The photos can lead you to believe it is on the beachfront. The stay was pleasant; the house had nearly everything we needed to be comfortable. However, WiFi in the bedrooms was poor, which was disappointing. The outdoor blinds were troublesome with the amount of wind, and the brackets or hooks that were meant to secure them were either missing or broke off while secured. This meant that unsecured outdoor blinds would blow dangerously in strong wind while we tried to enjoy the braai/fire outside. The curtains in some of the rooms were mouldy, and the bedding was not the best. A room door handle was loose, and a bathroom door needed to be closed with force to ensure it was properly closed; this made a noise. Other than that, the house was great and well-sized and equipped for a large group, and we enjoyed the complimentary artisan bread and bottle of red wine. A small amount of wood was provided, which came in handy on the first night.
