Magalies Bush Lodge is ideal for guests looking for a rustic getaway in the Magalies bushveld.
Magalies Bush Lodge offers guests a choice of 3 individually decorated chalets, all situated in the bushveld: Chalet Bosbok, Chalet Springbok and Chalet Rooibok. Chalet Springbok and Chalet Blesbok both accommodate 4 guests, while Chalet Bosbok accommodates 6 guests.
The chalets are furnished with comfortable single beds that can be converted into king-size beds, and each chalet has a bathroom with a shower. Baby cots are available on request, and linen is provided for convenience. Each chalet has a kitchen equipped with a 2-plate stove (no oven). Each chalet also has a private boma.
The lodge also offers facilities such as a swimming pool, stone pizza oven, lookout point and a wooden playground to keep children entertained. The lodge has both a baby pool and a large swimming pool. Please note that the swimming pool is not fenced, and supervision is recommended. There are walking trails to explore, and a variety of wildlife can be seen, including blesbok, springbok, blesbok, and impala.
Magalies Bush Lodge is approximately 100 km from Johannesburg, 110 km from Pretoria and 44 km from Rustenburg, making it suitable for a quick weekend getaway in the bush.
Please note that there is at least 10 km of gravel road, and the road to the farm is also gravel. During the rainy season, guests staying at Chalet Bosbok and Chalet Springbok are advised to travel in a bakkie, SUV or 4x4.
