Friendly service, nice place to hang out with friends. We booked a game drive at Mangwa Lodge where we drove around their camps and saw rhinos, buffalo, golden blue wildebeest and other antelope species. A platter and drink per person was included. . The staff are very friendly and helpful and quickly make plans if there is a crisis. The Lodge is relatively centrally located with Arlington Brewery just around the corner. . Facilities were clean and tidy. We had a great stay.

Enjoyable stay at Mangwa Valley Lodge. We enjoyed our stay; the self-catering chalets were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were a bit disappointed that there was no longer a games room, as a table tennis table was featured in the brochure and would have been nice for the teenagers. We enjoyed the game drive and nature walk.

Very nice place to stay. Perfection doesn't exist. Great view from the chalet/tent, great food and great service. Just need to be very specific about the kind of game you want to do. Pool was not ready, WiFi is capricious but we were almost alone and this was precious. We will come back.

Nice place, misleading star rating. It was good to get away. The location is very good and the view over the dam is beautiful and at night the stars are bright. The facilities and quality were inadequate for a 4 star rating.

It was probably a 3 star lodge at best. The fridge is too small for a 6 sleeper unit especially if you are stay the whole week. . The beds had old matresses that had sunk in the middle so was extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. Unit is supplied with the cheapest toilet paper known to man. There is no TV or wifi in the unit so not a great place to stay if you have young children. The play at the lodge area for children is a swing and a suspect looking slide. The kitchen shelves we cleaned ourselves as it was thick with dust and dead creatures. we found remanence of a huntsman spider in a coffee cup. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
