Marico River Game Lodge is situated between the Kromellenboog Dam and the Marico-Bosveld Nature Reserve, making it the ideal destination for an overnight stay or a vacation. Marico River Game Lodge offers quality accommodation with various activities on the farm and in the Greater Marico area.
The accommodation comprises a lodge, a guest house, and a private bush house and the Damhuis.
The lodge has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 4 guests at a time. The main bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The second room has 2, three-quarter beds and a bathroom with bath, toilet and basin. Both rooms have air conditioning and a balcony that overlooks the patio.
The guesthouse has 3 suites. Room 1 has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen and living area are shared with Room 2.
Room 2 has 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Room 4 has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. It has its own kitchen and living area.
Rooms 1 and 2 are perfect for 2 families sharing. All rooms also have a sleeper couch for 1 extra person.
The Bush House has 1 bedroom and can accommodate 2 guests on a double bed. It has a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. It features a small kitchen but does not have a fridge. This unit does not have electricity, but does have solar power for lights, a donkey for hot water and braai facilities.
The Damhuis is a double-storey house located next to Marico Dam. This house can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms.
This breathtaking piece of bushveld is on a 600-hectare farm with a variety of game as well as birdlife and beautiful sunsets.
Enjoy a convenient, self-catering stay en-route to the Madikwe Valley or Botswana.
O.R. Tambo International Airport is a mere 2-hour and 45-minute drive from Marico River Game Lodge.
