Calm and peace. This was easily one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We enjoyed the nature and the camp-style accommodation was a great alternative to always staying in a guesthouse or chalet. We chose Montrose because it is pet-friendly and we will definitely come back - this time for longer!

Good value for money. It was a wonderful stopover for me on my road trip to explore the Blyde River Canyon. I took a 2.5-hour walk through the gardens and it is a wonderful space for any option of accommodation. There are so many little spots in the garden to explore and rocks to climb.
