Meerendal Cottage Affordable Luxury is an upmarket self-catering cottage located on a residential property in Edgemead, with its own private entrance. This recently updated cottage focuses on comfort, convenience, and quality. A solar system has been installed to ensure power during load-shedding.
The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a separate dining room.
The air-conditioned main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and offers ample cupboard space, as well as a lounge area with a Smart TV featuring Netflix and a full selection of DStv channels. Uncapped Wi-Fi is available. A sunny bay window provides a picturesque view of the solar-heated, exclusive-use pool in the private garden.
The spacious bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, and twin washbasins.
The second bedroom is furnished with extra-length twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed upon request at the time of booking. It also features a Smart TV with access to DStv and Netflix, as well as a study or library nook with a desk. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower and a corner bath.
Fans and wall panel heaters assist with temperature control, and the property is secured with shutter guards and beam lights.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, air fryer, washing machine, and dishwasher. The dining room includes a 4-seater table and leads out to a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture and a built-in braai.
Guests have exclusive use of a sparkling swimming pool and a private garden, which also features a wood-fired hot tub under a Victorian-style gazebo. Secure parking for 2 vehicles is available behind a double remote-controlled gate.
