Melsetters Guesthouse offers neat and comfortable self-catering or B&B accommodation in the peaceful suburb of Langenhoven Park, Bloemfontein. The guesthouse is ideally located just 4 km from the University of the Free State, Universitas Hospital, and the N1 highway, making it an excellent choice for academics, medical visitors, or travelers in transit.
Accommodation is available in 3 double and 4 family rooms, which can collectively accommodate up to 22 guests. Each room is air-conditioned and features a private en-suite bathroom with a shower; Rooms 1 and 7 include both a bath and a shower. For families, extra guests can be accommodated on a sturdy camping bed, toddler bed, or a camping cot for babies.
Every room is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, microwave, kettle, hotplate, toaster, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. For guest convenience, a hairdryer and ironing facilities are also provided. Entertainment includes a flat-screen TV with OpenView and Showmax, and guests are welcome to use their own login details for DStv and Netflix via the free uncapped 60 Mbps Business Fibre Wi-Fi.
The property features a solar power backup system, ensuring that guests are not affected by power outages. Outdoor braai facilities are available (guests should bring their own wood), and secure parking is provided for one vehicle per room. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and is only permitted in designated outside areas.
