Merindol Manor is one of the oldest heritage homes in the picturesque wine- and olive-producing Riebeek Valley, in the heart of the Swartland, approximately 84 km from Cape Town. Once a stately family home, it has been lovingly restored into a boutique guest house set within landscaped gardens, featuring an olive grove and seasonal fruit and vegetable gardens. Guests can enjoy a peaceful countryside setting with scenic views and a relaxed atmosphere.
Accommodation is offered in 4 spacious double rooms, namely The Chenin Room, The Grenache Room, The Shiraz Room, and The Viognier Room, each furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Room facilities include a TV, bar fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, tea-making facilities, hairdryer, a safe, and Wi-Fi access. The Manor can also be booked as a whole unit, comprising all 4 bedrooms and accommodating up to 8 guests, making it ideal for families or small groups travelling together.
Breakfast is served in the dining room each morning, and dinner can be arranged on request. On-site facilities include a swimming pool, sun loungers, and a braai area. Guests can also enjoy the small library, which is stocked with a selection of French and South African literature.
