Pets are not permitted.

The use of quad bikes or motorcycles for recreational purposes is not permitted on the resort.

Littering is not permitted anywhere on the resort, and guests are encouraged to follow the motto: “Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photographs, kill nothing but time.”

Visitors are not permitted on the property.

Drugs and illegal substances, including cannabis and hubbly bubbly, are strictly prohibited on the resort and may not be brought onto the premises.

About the ablution facilities, smoking and vaping are not permitted. Guests are requested to be considerate towards fellow campers and to leave the facilities clean and tidy at all times. Shower time should be kept to a minimum to ensure sufficient hot water for all guests. The property operates on a septic system, and guests are kindly requested not to flush any items that are not biodegradable.

With regard to the swimming pool area and heated pool, glass items are not permitted in or around the pool areas. The heated pool operates via a heat pump system, and the water temperature is set to 30°C. The heat pump operates between 06:00 and 11:00, and again from 15:00 to 20:00 from August to April, and between 09:00 and 15:00 from May to July. Heated water during winter is not guaranteed and remains subject to weather conditions.

With regard to fires, wood may not be collected or broken from trees for fire use, and braai wood, charcoal, and briquettes are available for purchase. Fires are permitted only in designated braai facilities or in purpose-built campfire units with ash pans. Braai areas are cleaned regularly, and guests are requested not to dispose of ash in refuse bins. Campfires must be controlled and kept small enough to prevent damage to surrounding vegetation. All fires must be fully extinguished before retiring for the evening. Under certain conditions, fires may be prohibited to reduce the risk of veld fires.

Wildlife, including antelope, birds, and farm animals, may not be disturbed or chased, as they roam freely for guests to enjoy.

Modubu Lodge is a bushveld retreat where peace and tranquility are valued, and loud music, public disturbances, and fireworks are not permitted.

Radio-controlled aircraft, including drones, planes, and helicopters, are not permitted on the property.

Right of admission is reserved.

Modubu Lodge reserves the right to remove any guest from the premises should the terms and conditions not be adhered to, and refunds will not apply in such cases.
