It was wonderful and peaceful to be at this place. This place is such a wonderful place to stay at and it's very peaceful. We booked a 3-night stay, but it felt like we stayed longer than that, because once you get there everything slows down. Your mornings are quite longer than your afternoons and your nights; even the air is quite refreshing due to the nature all over the camp. And our host, such a great guy who made sure we were well taken care of and really took his time to check up on us during our stay. I don't like going to places I have been to before because I like trying new places, but this one I am definitely coming back!

Bosveld sterrehemel-magie, netjiese lodge, warm gasvryheid, heerlike swembad. Ons verblyf by Mountain View Safari Lodge was eenvoudig fantasties! Die lodge is geleë in die hart van die Bosveld, waar doodse stilte en ’n pragtige sterrehemel elke aand vir ’n onvergeetlike atmosfeer sorg. Die akkommodasie self is uiters netjies, skoon en met groot sorg gedekoreer – alles wat ’n mens nodig het vir ’n gemaklike en ontspannende wegbreek is daar. Fanie het ons met warmte en vriendelikheid ontvang en ons onmiddellik tuis laat voel. Die swembad was ’n heerlike lafenis in die hitte van die dag en het die ervaring net nog meer besonders gemaak. Hierdie lodge bied die perfekte kombinasie van rustigheid, styl en gasvryheid. Ons sal beslis weer hier kom kuier – Mountain View Safari Lodge is ’n ware juweel in die Bosveld!

Mooi natuurskoon, rustig en stil. Was rustig en die natuurskoon is mooi. Lekker afgekoel in die swembad, nog warm tydens die dag omdat daar nie aircon is nie, maar aande was lekker.

Perfekte bos wegbreek vir 'n paartjie. Onvergeetlike tyd gehad. Dit is 'n fantastiese plek vir 'n paartjie wat bietjie stilte nodig het en die bos kan geniet. Njalas het kort-kort kom groet by die tent.

Stunning place! Was sad that we only booked one night and didn't get to experience the pool and boma area! Absolutely stunning place!

If you have a 4WD car, you'll never regret visiting this place. Our stay was awesome! We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere with no neighbours, exactly what we wanted. Everything about this place is fantastic, except that we stayed at the furthest tent from the gate. Getting from our tent to the main tar road took half an hour. So every time we had to leave, we had to budget at least an hour of travel (in and out). And I don't think we would've made it to our tent at all without a 4WD vehicle.

Best value for money, seclusion and viewing of animals and nature. Great manager. We don't really have enough words to describe the stay. We stayed at Mountain View for our honeymoon as well as a few other places. Mountain View was by far the cheapest, best value for money, most secluded, neatest and well-managed venue! The first night a leopard came 5m from us to say hi. The next morning we woke up to 2 stunning giraffes by the pool; a mongoose and other animals also came to say hello. Definitely the best place I have stayed at going from Hoedspruit to the Kruger. Would recommend to anyone! Wonderful manager and close to a lot of places and fun activities as well as restaurants. 10/10. Photos don't do the place justice. Stunning!
