Bushveld starry sky magic, neat lodge, warm hospitality, lovely swimming pool. Our stay at Mountain View Safari Lodge was simply fantastic! The lodge is situated in the heart of the Bushveld, where dead silence and a beautiful starry sky create an unforgettable atmosphere every night. The accommodation itself is extremely neat, clean and decorated with great care – everything one needs for a comfortable and relaxing getaway is there. Fanie received us with warmth and friendliness and made us feel at home immediately. The swimming pool was a wonderful relief in the heat of the day and made the experience even more special. This lodge offers the perfect combination of tranquility, style and hospitality. We will definitely come back to visit here – Mountain View Safari Lodge is a true gem in the Bushveld!

Best value for money, seclusion and viewing of animals and nature. Great manager. We don't really have enough words to describe the stay. We stayed at Mountain View for our honeymoon as well as a few other places. Mountain View was by far the cheapest, best value for money, most secluded, neatest and well-managed venue! The first night a leopard came 5m from us to say hi. The next morning we woke up to 2 stunning giraffes by the pool; a mongoose and other animals also came to say hello. Definitely the best place I have stayed at going from Hoedspruit to the Kruger. Would recommend to anyone! Wonderful manager and close to a lot of places and fun activities as well as restaurants. 10/10. Photos don't do the place justice. Stunning!

Peaceful and restful. Our stay at Mountain View Safari Lodge was breathtaking, absolutely perfect. The place is clean, peaceful, private and beautiful. The bed was our favourite, very comfortable. The shower was perfect under the sky. The outside pool is perfect for a couple. Hot water does not run out. The tent was warm as we arrived on a windy day. We received the best hospitality from Fanie. He reached out to us before we even arrived. He constantly kept checking in throughout our travel to the lodge, during our stay and even after we left. I have never experienced such from any host. To top it all, he went the extra mile as we were celebrating my partner's birthday and he created a mini romantic setup for us, which was so thoughtful. If you are looking for time away, just you and nature, I highly recommend Mountain View Safari Lodge.

Beautiful bush break. We loved our stay here. We visited as a family with our 2-year-old. We came in the middle of winter. Although the days were lovely and warm, the nights were cold as there's no heating in the tents. They do provide lots of blankets though. We could get really close to nature, and the hosts were always available for any questions I had. Maybe the hosts should consider getting a small heater for the tent in the future, my own suggestion. It's so quaint and beautiful.

Thank you so much, Jessica, for your review. We have considered heaters before, but they add a significant fire risk which we cannot accommodate. That's why we opted for warm blankets and the fire boma. Fortunately, the temperatures even in winter are over 30 degrees Celsius, but yes, the evenings are cooler.
