Description
Mushashani Bush Camp is situated on a private 3,100-hectare game farm along the Sand River, approximately 10 km south of Musina. Surrounded by unspoilt bushveld, the camp offers a tranquil setting ideal for families or groups seeking a nature-focused escape within a peaceful and scenic environment.
The camp is booked as a whole and can accommodate up to 12 guests. Accommodation comprises 3 air-conditioned rondavels, each furnished with 2 single beds, as well as a separate room furnished with 6 single beds and air conditioning. There are 2 bathrooms, one fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin, and the other fitted with a bath, toilet, and basin. An additional outdoor shower with a basin is also available. Linen is provided, and guests are required to bring their own bath and swimming towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove, 2 refrigerators, a 210 L freezer, a kettle, pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery. The outdoor area features a braai (barbecue) area with built-in seating around a fire pit, as well as a thatched lapa. A farm dam located approximately 50 m from the camp offers a swimming spot and includes a rock deck with built-in seating.
Guests can explore the surrounding farm via walking and cycling routes, with views of hills, cliffs, and natural rock formations. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including kudu, eland, nyala, klipspringer, and smaller predators, with occasional sightings of wild dogs and leopards. Nearby attractions include Mapungubwe National Park and Tshipise, while the camp is accessed via a 6 km gravel road from the N1, where vehicles with reasonable ground clearance are recommended.
