Newburg Farm neighbours Elements Private Golf Reserve in the malaria-free Waterberg region, just an hour and a half from Pretoria, with Bela-Bela 29 km away. Operated as a game farm, Newburg Farm offers a variety of wildlife, including buffalo, oryx, kudu, waterbuck, warthog, nyala, wildebeest and giraffe. The property is also a haven for bird enthusiasts. Guests access Newburg Lodge, Bush Villa and Luxury Tents exclusively via the Elements Private Golf Reserve.
Self-catering accommodation is offered in 5 Luxury Bush Tents, 2 Honeymoon Suite Tents, a 16-sleeper thatched Lodge and a 24-sleeper Bush Villa. Each Luxury Bush Tent and Honeymoon Suite Tent can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 rooms separated by a canvas partition. The first room contains a king-size bed, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, a seating area and twin washbasins, leading to an en-suite shower with a toilet, washbasin and outdoor shower. The second room contains 2 single beds and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas hob and cutlery and crockery. Each tent has a TV with a full bouquet of DStv channels and opens to a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture and a built-in braai. The Honeymoon Suite Tents additionally feature wood-fired hot tubs and private firepits. All 7 tents can be booked exclusively together for a group of up to 28 guests, in which case a communal boma with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, built-in braai and swimming pool is available.
The thatched Lodge accommodates up to 16 guests and comprises 4 en-suite chalets and a main lodge area. Each chalet accommodates 4 guests and contains 4 single beds with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a free-standing bath, twin washbasins, enclosed toilet and outdoor shower. The main lodge area contains a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining area and a lounge with a TV featuring selected DStv channels. Outside, a large covered patio deck with outdoor dining furniture and a splash pool is provided exclusively for lodge guests. A large boma with seating, built-in braai facilities and a firepit is also available, perfect for evenings under the stars. Shadecloth parking is provided.
Newburg's Bush Villa accommodates up to 24 guests in 7 bedrooms and is perched on a hill with panoramic views, offering all the comforts of home within a bush setting. Daily servicing is provided to all tents, the Lodge and the Bush Villa. Guests staying at Newburg Farm also have access to the facilities at Elements Private Golf Reserve, including golf for the guests' account, a swimming pool, tennis courts, mountain bike trails, a restaurant and more.
