Set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains, Newcastle Country Lodge offers comfortable accommodation, country-style hospitality, excellent facilities, and peaceful surroundings just outside Newcastle. It is an ideal destination for business travellers, families, leisure guests, and those attending special events.
The lodge offers guests a choice of 24 beautifully appointed rooms and 1 rondavel, each with a private entrance. The units feature comfortable beds, soft duvets, crisp linen, and private bathrooms. Additional amenities include a bar fridge, microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a TV, and access to free Wi-Fi.
Paved pathways lead to the main building, where guests can enjoy a welcoming dining room, pub, enclosed veranda, and spacious sundeck overlooking the surrounding countryside. Breakfast and dinner are served daily, with à la carte meals available on request. The lodge also features a glass-sided conference venue that can accommodate up to 50 delegates, making it suitable for meetings, conferences, and corporate functions.
