Kindly familiarise yourself with the house rules below prior to your stay. These rules apply for the full duration of your visit. Thank you for your cooperation.
Pets are strictly by prior arrangement only and will incur an additional cleaning fee of R350. Guests are also required to accept the pet policy, which can be viewed here:

Guests are encouraged to relax, unwind, and enjoy the unique and nurturing experience offered at A Far Away Place. We believe in creating a magical and peaceful environment for all.
This is a quiet farm-stay destination, and no parties are allowed. Loud noise, excessive drinking, or loud music will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to remove guests from the property should this rule be breached, and no refund will be issued in such cases.
Bookings are for the exclusive use of the guests listed. Day visitors or additional guests are not permitted without prior approval. Additional charges may apply should permission be granted.
All cottages are strictly non-smoking indoors. Ashtrays are provided outside, and smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Please drive carefully on the property and be mindful of the resident dogs, as they are small and not road-aware.
Motorbikes, quad bikes, and fireworks are strictly prohibited.
No fires may be lit on the day of departure. During winter, all open or braai fires must be properly extinguished by guests. Complimentary firewood is provided for the first night, and additional wood may be purchased on-site. Gas bottles for heaters are included; however, replacements during your stay will incur an additional cost.
Check-in is between 14:30 and 18:00. Late check-in after 18:00 will incur a charge of R250 per hour. Early check-in may be accommodated upon request, subject to availability.
Check-out is strictly at 10:00. Late check-outs will be charged at R250 per hour.
This is a self-catering establishment. The cleaning fee included in your booking covers departure cleaning only. Units are not serviced during your stay. Should you require daily cleaning, this can be arranged at an additional cost of R150 per day.
Guests staying longer than two nights may request fresh towels if needed. Daily towel changes are not provided in order to conserve energy and support environmental sustainability.
