As is required in terms of Section 49 of the Consumer Protection Act, we specifically draw your attention to each of the terms and conditions below, which you, by signing this form, agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to before your stay:
Every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure your enjoyment, comfort, and especially safety whilst visiting The Nguni Gastehuis. However, you acknowledge and agree that there may be risks associated with your stay, and by signing, you agree that:
- You specifically indemnify and hold harmless The Nguni gaste huis (Pty) Ltd, its agents and/or employees (“AGH”) against any claims, damages, liability or responsibility for any harm, injury, damages or loss to yourself or any person, including to property, including any loss of support or earnings (both past or future) of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising from or connected with your participation and whether or not such claims are caused by any act or omission, negligent or otherwise, of AGH and/or anyone else.
- You, who signs this form, and are / will be accompanied by or visited by any other person, furthermore, indemnify AGH in respect of such person(s) in relation to any claim against AGH as described in the preceding paragraph.
- Please note the provisions of sections 45 and 48 of The Liquor Act No.27 of 1989, a copy is available via Google convenience and attention.
- You shall be personally responsible for payment of all costs related to my accommodation at the AGH, including (though not restricted to) room charges, the cost of all goods or services supplied to, consumed by, or ordered by me, should they not be paid when they fall due.
- Cancellations: If cancellation is made within 15 or 30 days before arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the payment is required. If cancellation within 7 days, to date, full payment is required. Any shortened stays will be charged at 100% of the booked stay.
- Furthermore, indemnify and absolve the aforesaid guesthouse, Board of Governors, and its staff, against all claims of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising directly or indirectly out of my participation in using Nguni gastehuis swimming pool.
- Rates are subject to change at any time.
- Right of admission reserved.
- Arriving time is not earlier than 14:00 & departing time not later than 10:00.
- Safekeeping: All valuables & firearms may be left at reception.
- Keys must be handed in at the office before leaving.
- Breakfast is served between 06:00 & 08:00 during the week & between 08:00 & 09:00 on weekends.
- Dinner is served between 18:00 & 20:00. Please inform us not later than 10H00 if you will not require dinner.
- Food Allergies must be reported to management on arrival.
- Smoking indoors is prohibited.
- Laundry, leave it on the bed with the enclosed laundry list before 08:00.
- A valet service is available for your vehicle. Please arrange a day prior at the office.
- Security cameras, electric fencing, shaded parking & a motorised gate are available for your safety.
- Transport to the surrounding areas is available should you require assistance.
- Medical assistance. A first aid kit is available.

- Emergency procedure. In case of an emergency/ fire, evacuate rooms immediately. Move to the gathering point at the front gate. After hours, please contact management immediately.
- Open fires are allowed at the braai area only.
