Laze away your days at Noorspoort Self-Catering Guest Farm, where 150 years of history meet the quiet beauty of the Southern Karoo. Set at the gateway to the Baviaanskloof, this is a place where time slows down, horizons stretch wide, and true farm tranquility settles in.
Accommodation consists of 6 en-suite rooms, each thoughtfully prepared for comfort and rest.
The Honeymoon Suite is furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and toilet. A bar fridge and tea-and-coffee-making facilities add to the ease of your stay.
The Twin Rooms each are furnished with two three-quarter beds covered in fresh cotton linen and hypo-allergenic goose-down duvets. En-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet, and each room is equipped with tea-and-coffee-making facilities.
The Family Room is ideal for larger groups, and is furnished with four three-quarter beds in the main room and a cosy stoep room with two additional beds for children. An en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower completes the space.
Just 5 km from town, the farm offers the rare balance of complete peace and privacy, while still being within easy reach of Steytlerville and its amenities.
Noorspoort is a working sheep, cattle, and lucerne farm, uniquely positioned where three plant biomes meet—home to cycads, euphorbias, and haworthias. The Great Gamtoos River winds its way through the farm, attracting an abundance of birdlife and adding to the rich natural tapestry of the area.
With a growing focus on regenerative farming, the land is gently being restored—100 olive trees are nurtured without pesticides and enriched with homemade compost and worm tea.
Guests are welcome to explore the farm at their own pace, whether on foot or by mountain bike, and to experience the striking rock formation of Draaikrans—one of Noorspoort’s quiet natural treasures.
