Description
The unit is located within "Die Oog," a luxury retirement and holiday estate situated at the foot of the Waterberg Mountains. Located approximately 15 km outside of Mookgopong (Naboomspruit) and a 90-minute drive from Pretoria, the estate features its own nature reserve and provides an idyllic setting for a peaceful getaway.
Die oog has its own nature reserve and is popular with mountain bikers and hikers. The surrounding area is known for a variety of attractions such as game farms, crocodile farms and several unique restaurants.
The accommodation comprises a main rondawel and an adjacent open-plan lapa area. The main rondawel features a kitchenette, a bathroom fitted with a bath, and 2 bedrooms; the first is furnished with a double bed, while the second contains 2 single beds. The open-plan lapa provides additional sleeping space with a double bed and a sleeper couch, as well as a fridge and a wash-basin. Guests have access to a private courtyard located between the buildings, which includes braai facilities.
On-site facilities at the resort are located within walking distance (approximately 400 m) and include a swimming pool, which is heated during specific months, a cafeteria, and a bar. During school holidays, the resort offers organised entertainment programs featuring music, games, and sports.
