Will definitely come back. Sweet and short, we did not want to leave. This picturesque place in the mountains is a dream. A wooden clamping tent in the middle of the mountains, with no one around and the most scenic surrounds is a pleasure to be experienced. It is peaceful and quiet and definitely a place I would go back to.

Absolutely spectacular. The place is well positioned to see the overview of the valley from the bed; the silence was the best kind of noise. The place is well equipped for all the things you might forget to pack (cutlery, etc.). The road leading to the place is well maintained and very scenic. There was a network problem, but rest assured that they thought of that with WiFi. I honestly have nothing that I was not happy with, except that I didn't book for more days (totally my fault). I will 100% be returning and definitely recommend this for any couples wanting a private romantic getaway.

A little piece of heaven. Wow, simply incredible. What an amazing place, the beauty is truly breathtaking. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and received excellent service from the host. I cannot fully express how special this experience was. We will definitely be returning.

Absolute peace and luxury in nature. My husband and I had the most incredible stay at Patatsfontein – The Oakron Tent. The absolute isolation and peace were exactly what we needed. The hiking was amazing, and ending the day with a braai and a wood-fired hot tub under the stars felt magical. Even the bath tub was divine! One day there honestly felt like a week’s break from reality. We left feeling completely rested and refreshed. We will definitely be returning; we already can’t wait for our next stay!

Blissful and perfect. Our stay was perfect. The place has everything you need and the host was so helpful with everything we asked for. We had a lovely walk on the farm, braai outside and later relaxed in the hot tub under the stars. The place is so quiet and peaceful. Lovely to wake up, lying in bed and watching the mountains. If you want to relax, this is the place to go.

Fabulous location for privacy. Lovely view from the deck. Most enjoyable stay. We were kept up to date before arrival about the condition of the roads and were received with a warm welcome. Everything you need is provided. Cleanliness is top-notch. Thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and location. Lovely view across the valley and the outside shower with warm water was a bonus. Our four-legged friend enjoyed it as much as we did.
