House Rules
The number of guests utilising the accommodation must not exceed the number stated on the booking form. Day visitors are only permitted by prior arrangement.
The property is situated within a UNESCO biosphere-protected village. Guests are required to respect the local fauna and flora.
Baboons frequent the area. Windows must be closed, and doors locked when away or not in the immediate vicinity, and baboons must not be fed under any circumstances.
Fires are strictly permitted only within the designated braai facilities and indoor fireplace. Hot coals or ash must never be left unattended.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house, and cigarettes must be safely extinguished outdoors.
The property utilises a septic tank system; only toilet paper may be flushed down the toilets.
The security alarm must always be activated whenever leaving the property.
Strict quiet hours are enforced from 22:00, and music or noise must be kept to a reasonable level. All outside lights must be turned off after 22:00.
Pets are only permitted on the property by prior arrangement.
Accommodations are self-catering, and cleaning services are not provided during the stay.
On departure, guests are required to wash and pack away all dishes, ensure the house is secured with the alarm activated, and remove all black garbage bags to the designated local waste station.
