Off-Grid Campsites @ Ngweni Private Game Farm in Hluhluwe offer 4 private and exclusive self-catering campsites along the Ngweni River, on the edge of Hluhluwe’s agricultural and tourism hub.
Each campsite includes its own bathroom fitted with a shower and gas geyser, as well as a private braai area. The campsites are spacious and set in a natural bushveld environment.
The surrounding area provides opportunities to enjoy diverse wildlife and the natural beauty of the region. Guests can arrange game drives to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Big 5 Game Reserve, with pick-up and drop-off available directly from the accommodation. The Ngweni Railroad Brewery & Restaurant, situated at the farm entrance, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The property features walking trails and fishing spots, and the greater Hluhluwe area is home to around 400 bird species. Wildlife on the farm includes small game such as red and grey duiker, common reedbuck, impala, nyala, zebra, and wildebeest. Observant guests may also encounter smaller creatures, including bushbabies, mongoose, porcupine, civets, monitor lizards, snakes, chameleons, dung beetles, and more.
