Oppieknoppie offers a relaxed coastal escape where guests can unwind, recharge and enjoy the beauty of seaside living. Whether surfing, taking peaceful beach walks or spending quality time with loved ones, this welcoming home is well-suited to a seaside getaway.
Oppieknoppie accommodates up to 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom offers a double bed and 2 single beds, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. There are 2 bathrooms, one fitted with a bath and shower and the other with a shower.
The open-plan living area includes a dining space, a lounge with a fireplace and a smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen suited to self-catering. The living area opens onto a veranda with sea views, ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. A second veranda on the western side overlooks Bass Lake and the surrounding Kogelberg mountains.
The fully enclosed garden provides a safe space for children, and both indoor and outdoor games are available. Across the road, guests can explore the lake or make use of the public rowing boats. Braai facilities are provided, and free fibre Wi-Fi is available.
Oppieknoppie is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and Bass Lake, with nearby restaurants, the Stony Point penguin colony and the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden all within easy reach. Situated within the Kogelberg Biosphere, the house offers a comfortable base from which to explore the natural beauty of the area.
Bettys Bay is known for consistent surf conditions suitable for all levels, and with the beach within easy walking distance, guests can enjoy early morning surf sessions or relaxed days by the sea.
