Description

O'Shaughnessy Cottage is a lovely beachfront house for up to 10 people in Pringle Bay, and has lovely views of the ocean.

The spacious comprises 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms; 3 of the rooms are located on the first floor, and the other 2 are located on the ground floor. One of the rooms is furnished with a king-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The other 2 bedrooms on the first floor, each contain 2 single beds and share the use of a bathroom a shower and a toilet.

Situated on the ground floor, the fourth room is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The fifth room contains 2 single beds, and share the use of a bathroom with a shower. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own beach towels.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and enjoy their meals at the dining table. A dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble-dryer are available in the scullery.

Guests can relax in the first-floor lounge that is equipped with a TV with DStv, and overlooks the bay. The ground floor lounge a cosy fireplace, and opens onto a covered patio with built in braai. Wi-Fi access is also available.

The patio has sliding doors that can be closed on windy days, and a built-in braai is available for use. From the garden, guests can follow the private path to the small beach below.

The village of Pringle Bay is surrounded by a variety of fynbos and a variety of bird and animal life can be seen when exploring the area. The bay offers swimming, snorkeling, and between June to December whales can also be seen.

This property has a prepaid meter for electricity and can be topped up by the guest. Please note that there are Chacma baboons in the area and guests are warned that they roam freely in our conservation area. They are wild animals so please don't feed them and keep windows and doors closed when you are not there.
