Ou Kraal is a charming cottage on a working farm in the Karatara area. It is surrounded by the picturesque countryside and offers spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation. The cottage is ideal for a family or friends looking for a quiet getaway away from city life.
This cottage features 2 bedrooms, with a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. The living area includes a kiddies’ sleeper couch for 2, as well as a single bed. The bathroom is fitted with a large shower, toilet and washbasin. The cottage also has an outdoor shower, toilet and washbasin.
The open-plan kitchen leads into the living area and is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, stove, air fryer, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, including a filter coffee machine. The living area offers a smart TV, a DVD player, and comfortable couches. A variety of DVDs are provided, and the TV is also equipped with Netflix.
The entertainment area features a cosy fireplace with seating, 2 dining tables, a snooker table, a dartboard, a table tennis table, and a Jacuzzi. This area is attached to the cottage and also includes an outdoor braai area. The elevated deck is a popular spot to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and take in the birdlife and wildlife. The farm also offers 5 walking trails, a lovely farm dam for swimming, and a picnic area by the stream.

There is a tarred road leading to Ou Kraal from the N2. Sedgefield is approximately 15 km away, with the popular Wild Oats Market held on Saturday mornings.
