Pelican's Nest St Lucia is an exclusive, beautifully decorated, self-catering house situated in a quiet street in St Lucia, with easy access and walking distance to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets and the rest of town.
The house is air-conditioned and pet-friendly and offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has 2 single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed. The second bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. Other amenities include a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge area, a TV with DStv Hotel Package and free Wi-Fi. Two additional sleeper couches are provided in the sun/reading room.
The living room leads out onto an entertainment area and patio with braai facilities and a sparkling pool. An enclosed jungle gym with a slide is provided at the back of the house. The house is serviced daily, and secure parking is available in 2 garages.
Nearby is the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, which was listed as South Africa’s first World Heritage Site, as well as Lake St. Lucia, which is 80 km long and 23 km wide at its widest point. It is home to over 800 hippos and 1200 crocodiles. This dynamic system hosts large flocks of pelicans, flamingos, ducks, waders, a variety of fish and other aquatic species. The greatest congregation of hippo and crocodiles in South Africa can be found here.
