Beautiful views over the valley. I'll definitely be back! We stayed twice in 2 different chalets in December. Staff are commendable and polite. The restaurant is beautiful with stunning views. I think the chalets could do with a revamp as this would only enhance the stay. Some things were broken and for such a beautiful venue, the chalets and reptile park would be my first priority in maintaining. I would suggest a microwave in Plane Tree and fixing the bathroom and kitchen cupboards. The countertop in Cabbage Tree is so wide that you can't reach the little stove. Also, a plug for the kettles so you don't have to move them all the time and unplug other appliances. Just little things, but they make a big difference. All in all, loved the staff, the concept and the setting.

Terrible stay, won't advise anyone to book the self-catering here. Absolutely terrible! Self-catering units are in a terrible condition and had a terrible stink. Our unit was not ready almost an hour after check-in. We had to ask for a fan and iron as the unit did not contain one and it was terribly hot. The front desk lady tried her best to help, but the unit was in a terrible condition overall. The lodge room we were offered was very well kept, but my kids wanted self-catering. The bath tub was stained, walls had brown stains on them, carpets stank, no Wi-Fi. The kitchen was outdated and smelled to a point you didn't even want to use a cup, so we bought some disposable cups and plates. I did take pictures of everything; unfortunately, we don't have an option to upload here. It was two days before Christmas, so we were not able to get alternative accommodation. The fresh towels were the only good thing about the unit. My kids' birthday was miserable as we looked forward to a nice relaxing stay. For the amount they charge, it was such a waste of money. The pool was lovely and the restaurant was good.
