Description
Phiva Game Lodge is located on a private game farm in the heart of the Waterberg District, making it an ideal weekend getaway for families and groups of friends. The farm is situated 13 km outside Modimolle, and the lodge is rented out exclusively to one group at a time.
The lodge features a total of 9 bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed and shares an en-suite bathroom (with a shower, basin, and toilet) with the first bedroom. The third and fourth bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and 3 single beds, along with a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The fifth bedroom has 3 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. The sixth bedroom is furnished with a double bed and shares a bathroom with the fifth bedroom. The seventh bedroom includes a double bed and a single bed, along with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The last 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, and both have en-suite bathrooms with a shower, basin, and toilet. Each room includes a coffee station and complimentary soap.
The lodge also features a kitchen and a lounge area that opens onto an outdoor patio. In addition, there is a lapa (entertainment area) equipped with a kitchen, pool table, dining table, dartboard, piano, a variety of board games, full DStv, braai facilities, a swimming pool, and a Jacuzzi. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes cutlery, a dishwasher, fridges, freezers, an air fryer, a microwave, and a gas stove.
Phiva Game Lodge is solar-powered and not affected by load shedding. Fans are available in all rooms, and three rooms are equipped with air-conditioning.
Guests are welcome to go on self-drive game viewing or hire a game viewer vehicle. The farm is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including buffalo, sable, nyala, giraffe, springbok, warthog, kudu, impala, zebra, waterbuck, blesbok, blue wildebeest, and numerous bird species. Housekeeping services are available at an additional cost.
Guests can also bring fishing rods to fish in the Donkerpoort Dam. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
