Important Safety Notice

This property is located within a nature reserve and is set in a natural bush environment. Wildlife, including insects, reptiles, and animals, as well as uneven terrain and other natural hazards, may be present at all times.

While reasonable care is taken, guests acknowledge and accept that they enter and remain on the property entirely at their own risk.

The house is a no-smoking area. Guests may smoke in the designated braai area in front of the house.

Loud music is not allowed due to the property's location within a nature reserve. No noise should be audible from one house or property to another between 22:00 and 07:00.

The host or owner cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, damage, or death to guests or their belongings arising from wildlife, natural conditions, or the use of the property.

Guests are responsible for their own safety and are expected to adhere to all safety guidance provided. Please remain alert at all times and take care of yourself and your belongings.

A once-off cleaning fee applies to ensure that the house is properly cleaned and prepared before guests arrive.

This is private property. The Association reserves the right to refuse admission, prevent unauthorized entry, and remove any persons from the property at its discretion

Only licensed pontoon and barge-type vessels are allowed on the dam.

Canoeing and rowing are not permitted, as this is prohibited by SANParks (South African National Parks).

Swimming in the dam is not allowed.

Children must be supervised at all times, particularly on the deck due to the balustrades, on the stairs, and when using the jacuzzi.

Please note that the estate entrance gates close at 19:30, and no access will be permitted thereafter. Guests are advised to arrive before dark, as driving on North West roads at night is unsafe.

The final 5 kilometres are on a well-graded dirt road.

The maximum occupancy is 7 guests and may not be exceeded. A daybed for a seventh guest is available on request.

Guests should remain on designated roads and footpaths and should be mindful that this is a bushveld environment where wildlife may be encountered.

No fires are permitted except in the designated braai area. Loud music is not allowed, as the property is located within a nature reserve.

Please bring binoculars, walking or running shoes, a mountain bike, a sun hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and your own swimming towels. The area is not malaria-prone.

No motorbikes or quad bikes are permitted on the estate. Guests must also bring their own firewood or charcoal for the braai.

Guests are welcome to walk freely around the estate, provided they respect the privacy of others and the tranquillity of nature.

Only licensed pontoon and barge-type vessels are allowed on the dam. Canoeing and rowing are not permitted.

Please keep the mosquito mesh doors of the house closed, especially when leaving the house or at night, as bats and monkeys may enter and cause damage.

The house has no TV or Wi-Fi, allowing guests to fully enjoy the surrounding nature.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed, as the property is located within a nature reserve.

A R50.00 estate conservation fee per car, per night applies and is included in the accommodation rate.

Estate Security may impose a noise fine for guests who do not comply with quiet hours, payable at the gate upon departure. Estate Security reserves the right to inspect the premises or vehicles if concerns arise.
