We had a wonderful time. Lovely home, enjoyed all the animals right on the doorstep.

Relaxing. Will not recommend this chalet for 4 people. Reasons being: With 2 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom. 1x shower, 1x toilet, 1x basin. Your timing must be perfect for bathroom rounds. The stoep gets afternoon sun and is unbearable until sunset. There are no blinds fitted to keep the sun out, so do not expect to start your braai until way after 7pm. The covered parking area is on the left of the chalet. With a big double cab bakkie, there is no way to squeeze in there. The view from the stoep - lots of trees in front and another enormous house that blocks the view. The main house is located right next door, so when occupied you do not have that much privacy. Overall, our stay was wonderful. Plus points are very comfortable beds, Aircon and a dishwasher. Mabalingwe itself gets 5 stars, but we will most definitely not stay at the chalet again. Value for money 2 stars.
