The Queen’s Hotel by BON Hotels is situated in Oudtshoorn and offers guests a relaxing getaway in colonial-style accommodation, and service reminiscent of a bygone era.
Built in 1880, the beautiful hotel has been restored to her original grandeur, and offers guests a choice of rooms that can accommodate between 2 to 6 people. The lovely rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, and each of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a bath, or a combination thereof, and a toilet. Toiletries and luxury linen are provided.
The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with TV's with selected DStv channels, Wi-Fi access, clock radios, direct dial telephones, safes for valuables, desks, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Two of the rooms, the Queen’s Residence and the King’s Residence, are also equipped for self-catering and have private entrances. Breakfast in the Hotel is not included for Residence guests.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room between 07:30 and 10:00, and in the evening guests can enjoy dinner in the hotel’s beautiful, Colony Restaurant. Conference facilities are available and can seat between 2 to 120 people.
Guests can relax in the communal lounge or lovely garden, or cool down in the swimming pool. The hotel has security and ample parking is available.
The Queen’s Hotel by BON Hotels is located within walking distance of various restaurants and shops, as well as the CP Nel Museum. Oudtshoorn offers a wide variety of attractions such as the Cango Ostrich Farm, the world-famous Congo Caves, and the CJ Langenhoven museums. Activities in the area include hiking, walking, mountain biking, 4x4 trails, bird watching, as well as wine tasting.
