A maximum of 8 guests are allowed.

Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not allowed.
Use the river at your own risk. It is strongly suggested that all guests who use watercraft (boats, kayaks, canoes, etc.) wear PDF's (personal flotation devices, AKA life jackets or buoyancy aids). Furthermore please stick to the river rules as set by the National Parks Board.
Contact Addo Elephant SANPARK officials (@ the Addo Elephant National Park Matyholweni southern entrance gate) for river access. A valid (i) SAMSA issued Skippers License; (ii) annual watercraft COF; and (iii) current buoyancy certificate is required (a 'must') by SANPARKS aforesaid, which issues river permits.
A public slipway is 750 m away. A daily access fee is levied at the entrance gate.
