Host was extremely helpful during our stay, she followed up daily. Rhino Retreat is exceptionally neat, fully equipped for their guests. Everything needed for relaxation, a good time, is provided. Definitely one of the best places to call home in Clarens.

Fantastic accommodation. We had a marvellous time. The place was beautifully furnished, clean and spacious and close to town. The host kept us updated with live performances as I requested. I would love to return.

Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable, the hostess was very helpful. We had a great stay, the place is spacious and comfortable for 8 people. Very neat and the kitchen has everything you need. The sleeper couch was just not comfortable.

Pleasant with breathtaking views. You can sometimes be fooled by the pictures, but this is not the case here. The house is comfortable, clean and practically designed, and the views are breathtaking. We were 4 adults, 2 children, and with 3 dogs there was more than enough space for everyone. The house is a short walk from the town center, but nothing too serious, and we did it a few times. We would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

Great place, dog friendly, kid friendly, hospitality was excellent. Brilliant! We had a wonderful stay. Rhino Retreat is a real gem in Clarens. The welcome we had was fantastic. It is honestly the first time ever that we arrived at a place to find a doggy water bowl already filled and a doggy guest bed. There was also a personalised note to welcome me and my family. Clearly, the owners care about their guests. The place is fantastic for a family stay. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great quality bedding, and a fabulous stoep to watch sunsets from. We will surely return!

Hi Yolanda, Thank you for sharing your review. While we respect your feelings about the location, we believe we offered the best possible service, clear communication, and a home that was pristine in cleanliness. Clarens is a warm and safe community, and we have never experienced any incidents or guests feeling unsafe here. We were, however, surprised and disappointed by the disrespectful tone used by your husband, especially given our offers to assist with alternative accommodations and providing additional security (regular patrols done by our security company). We always aim to provide a welcoming and positive experience for all our guests and take feedback seriously to continue improving.

Lovely self-catering/pet-friendly accommodation with space for the whole family. First impressions are lasting. Can recommend with confidence as self-catering accommodation/pet-friendly. Really enjoyed the space inside, outside and on the barbecue patio. Communication with the hostess was quick after booking there until check out, information about the area and what to visit was also shared.

Eerste indrukke is blywend.
