Ridgeview Accommodation is located in Umzumbe, a coastal town known as one of the hidden jewels on the South Coast, in KwaZulu-Natal. The property offers a tranquil self-catering stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However all meals and cleaning services can be booked at a fee by prior arrangement.
Ridgeview Accommodation consists of 1 main house that can accommodate 6 guests (with a private jacuzzi), and 1 comfort chalet room that can accommodate 2 guests (without a jacuzzi). The guests has the option of king or single beds in the bedrooms. These 2 units can be booked separately or together for a group of 8 persons.
The comfort chalet room at the back of the house has its own en-suite shower bathroom, and is fitted with a ceiling fan. This room contains a 32 cm smart TV; Netflix and wi-fi channels are provided. This unit has a kitchenette that contains a 4-plate gas stove, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, cutlery, and all basic kitchenware. This unit also has its own braai facilities under a lapa, which is separate from the unit and an outside basin for washing dishes. It also has a lounge area and dining area under the lapa and awning. The comfort chalet has ample build in cupboards. It also have the luxury of a barfridge and coffee nook within the bedroom.
The house has two air-conditioned bedrooms that are additionally fitted with ceiling fans. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom en-suites. The open plan dining and lounge area caters for a 40cm TV, Netflix and broadband channels. The kitchen is fitted with a gas stove, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, smoothie maker, biltong cutter, and all the cutlery and crockery you may need. It offers a comfortable veranda/deck area that offers barbecue facilities. a 6 seater jacuzzi a additional dining area, and comfortable lounge chairs to relax.
Even though the property is a selfcatering accommodation you will be provided with an clean set of Linen, bath towels, bed side/bathroom mats; dishcloths; dishwash, handy andy, oven cleaner, hand and body wash; 2 bin bags; 2 toilet rolls per bathroom at no cost. The property has a shared laundry room, offering a washing machine, iron and board at no cost to long stay guests. Towel racks is also provided.
In addition, each unit has a safety deposit box, and there is secure parking on the property for vehicles. There are also water tanks on premises to ensure guests have water during their stay, should there be water shortages.
The property is within close proximity to the Blue Flag beach with a tidal pool, which is very popular for swimming, surfing, and fishing. The property is also within 48km from all major South Coast attractions that can be enjoyed.
