Rietfontein Lodge & Safaris is a charming off-the-grid lodge situated along the valley of the spectacular Bamboes Mountain Range in Hofmeyr, offering spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation. The landscape boasts abundant birdlife, scenery, and wildlife for those looking to get away for a weekend of relaxation, mountain biking, or even hikes through the veld.
The lodge can accommodate 18 guests and comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms downstairs that can accommodate 6 adults, each furnished with 2 single beds. The open-plan upstairs area can accommodate 6 guests on single beds. The remaining 2 bedrooms are furnished with 3 single beds each. The lodge comprises 5 bathrooms, which are all fitted with shower facilities.
The open-plan kitchen, which opens onto the braai and dining area, is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, toaster, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining and braai area features a dining table with seating for 10 guests, a breakfast nook with seating for an additional 4 guests, and a built-in braai.
Free Wi-Fi, secure parking, a balcony with outdoor seating, and a boma area with outdoor seating are all available to guests.
